Our story begins with a girl with a big dream and an even bigger passport stamp collection. I traded the golden, sun-drenched savannahs of Kenya for the moody, mystical glens of Scotland. It’s a journey from always-sunny Nairobi mornings to those “four-seasons-in-one-day” Scottish afternoons.

And let me tell you, my makeup bag had a serious identity crisis!

My Kenyan side craved vibrant, bold colours that could stand up to the equatorial sun — pigments that celebrated life, community, and joy. But my new Scottish life demanded makeup that could brave the wind, rain, and central heating — formulas that were hydrating, long-lasting, and kind to my skin.

I couldn’t find it on the shelves... so I decided to create it myself.

Adita Cosmetics was born from this beautiful clash of cultures.
